And for me, Confeitaria Jauense is one of those places, which serve as a lovely backdrop in the formation of good local memories.

From the first store on Rua Quintino and Av. Brasil, they nourish our soul with the unique flavors that are part of the culture of Iguaçu.

This is the case of artisanal ice cream, Porto Alegre pie, and of course the famous coxinha that makes people who live far away “cry in Guarani” with longing.

It worked so well that they expanded their clientele to Curitiba, where they are successful with their usual recipe, the perfect mix of flavor and affection.

And this month, Jauense celebrates its 44th anniversary, filled with stories about love and overcoming obstacles, whose secret ingredient is its own team.

Like Célia Aquino, who shone in every position at the company and is now a customer service supervisor, an inspiration to her colleagues.

Or Naide Lakus, she arrived in 1987 as a clerk, and currently takes care of a team of more than twenty employees.

It is also worth mentioning João Mingotti, a talented pastry chef, who worked as a general assistant and today is the one who makes the cake rise.
